Leland "Lee" Addington - Hot Rod Performance Instructor
Lee comes from California, originally a military dependent and has over 30 years (15 years teaching) experience in the automotive field. His previous experience working in different specialty shops and owning his own service and repair business provide students with first hand experience with automotive performance.
Lee is ASE ceritifed in engine performance electrical and fuel systems. His specialties and interests are performance engines, transmissions, 12V electrical wiring and gadgetry, carburetion, and low cost performance.
Lee has owned several performance vehicles, to include:
- 55 Ford Y-Block
- 64 SS Chevelle
- 64 Malibu Drag Racer (ground up build)
- 67 Shelby GT 500 (428 with dual quads)
His performance background lends itself well to the hot rod institute to teach students how to meld power and performance into their hot rods.
